THE DATE ON THIS SHOULD READ JULY 10TH, I HAD IT SAVED AS A DRAFT TILL NOV.

Good afternoon my little fairy! well you've just gone up to nana's bed for a nap and.... my head has just been spinning over the last few weeks about what to write to you, there is so much!!!
So, i'm gonna start off by telling you some funny things you say (in place of the correct word)
I'll try start in order of usage!

AMO!! that's your first biggest one! this means OPEN
Affoo! this is your favourite film Alvin and the Chipmunks 2
Co-dhe doo'eh!!this means Clodagh wants to do it (which is everything, you are possibly the most independent little girl i've ever met)
Si'asijue, this means, you want someone to sit beside YOU instead of saying "me" i can tell you, it's extremely cute!! (everything you say and do is)
Take-a-doll is a crocodile
If you want help you say, "I help you"
Winni and Susan where here and i asked you to kiss Winni goodbye, we couldn't work out why you didn't until you looked at me and asked, "where's Winni" you were looking for Winni the Pooh!
Play dough you call "peedoe"
Cheeki ogets are chicken nuggets

You are now 2 years and 5.5 weeks old, your hair is beautiful, light brown with golden blonde streaks.

Hiye darling,

I never know where to begin there's so much to say!
I suppose i'll begin at the beginning of October when we arrived home from out trip to Florida and the Caribbean Cruise, you were just ridiculously well behaved. Everyone on the ship (mostly American's) called you princess. The waiters would feed you and really look forward to you coming to dine that night, they'd place your napkin over your dress and pour your drink! like lady muck so you were! and well deserved too!

You got to meet Micky and Minnie Mouse and well, the whole world is witnessing that, I just posted it on youtube too, everybody cries when they see it. I don't think i'll go into much detail about it as i'm sure you'll know the one i'm on about by the time you read this!

so some things you're saying at the moment that are funny, (you're speaking pretty much completely now, there's nothing you can't say, just some sentences are a little muddled up...)

a gurly wurly is a curly wurly
you still count leaving out the number 4

you're really interested in books lately, daddy and i read to you every day and night and you in turn read to your dollys. refer to the "through the woods memo" on the voice memory stick. It's out favourite. "the end" lol

You just love playing dinner time with all your dollys, we sit on the floor and take out some plastic bowls n' cups and pretend to go th the shops and feed our dollys. You're so kind and gentle, i'm sure you're going to grow to be a very caring young lady.

For such a little person, you're great at making new friends, you remember everyones name and just go up to them and ask them to dance or play with you. Grace is still your best friend though and you love going to visit Leon.

Halloween was approaching and we hung some decorations, some you like and some you don't. So much so that I had to take the one down off the hall door! in fairness he was quite scary, even your daddy's scared.

We had a party in your nanas house with Donna and all her friends, Libby, Abbey, Sophie, Emma, Shauna and Ava came too. We had GREAT fun, playing games and dancing. Still your favourite thing to do by far!

Even as i'm wring this you're dancing around to Gangnam style, ill attach it to this post somehow.

When I started this blog you couldn't attach anything so things are separate, but now you can. so... you can see and reference your stories and pics and videos together.

Hard to believe but it seems we can love you more and more each day.

You're perfect, funny with a FANTASTIC sense of humour!

Hello Miss Clodagh,

So today is the last day of my 20's, i'm the big 30 tomorrow. We had a party on friday night and you were there and you just had a ball!!! you danced all night and when I got up to say a few thank yous, you were right there with me, pulling the microphone from my hand roaring and shouting! You are so entertaining and funny! You're such a well behaved child and ... I know I have to say to say that because i'm your mammy, but honestly you really are. Everyone comments on your manners, your stunning beauty and just how well behaved you are. You make it so easy to love you.

So, what you've been up to lately. Well the other day, I had the lamp switched off at the wall and you were trying to switch it back on by the cord and it woudln't turn on for you and you, (as if it were second nature to you) quite simply told me it was "fucked". I knew immediately where you learned that word, so I got on the phone to your grandad straight away! and your grandad LAUGHED!!!

Your daddy and I just got new phones too, I got an iphone and your daddy the samsung galaxy. I wonder how much more phones will be able to do by the time you're old enough to have one. But you just love them, you love the barbie game, the talking back teddy and angry birds and diamond dash. You always ask me for my finger to make the diamonds explode.

I got a new job a month ago now, working in Eircom. 5 days a week from 3 to 7, they're great hours for me because i get to spend all day with you before you head off to nana and grandads, then your daddy arrives at nana's about half 6, me just after 7 and we all go home to Clodagh's house for dinner, some messing (that's mostly you and daddy) family time and cuddles.

I have to take a break from this blog, your daddy is upstairs giving you a bath and i want to wash your hair.

Now i'm back, it's been about 5 hours since i started this. You had a 2 hour sleep and then wanted to go back to bed. You are without a shadow of a doubt THE laziest baby that has ever lived! YOu're also turning into a fuss pot! you used to eat everything for me, (well a lot of this is my fault, i've stopped giving you as much vegetables as you should have) and as a result you now turn your nose up to cabbage, carrots, turnip, all the things you used to love. You've just asked me for a yogi (yoghurt) in place of your lovely roast beef dinner with all the trimmings and as much as it hurts me to think you might be hungry, for you own good, i just don't want you to end up like me when it comes to food. It's terrible when I go out, there are so many things i don't like. Well in sayting that, i'm 100 times better than i used to be. But there were a couple of years there were all I would eat was chips and spaghetti hoops! I remember one holiday with the girls and i bought actual baby food, from a tin cause i ate nothing that the girls did. So over time, i've had to keep trying things and eventually come round. In fairness i still wouldn't eat cabbage but I just want you to. I know... hypocrite! but look if i didn't love you i wouldn't care! hee hee.

so some things that have happened over the last month or so....
You told nana she was like a princess the other night when she put a sparkly necklace on.
You wouldn't eat your dinner for nana and grandad and they threatened to turn tinkerbell off the tele if you didn't so you kicked up a fuss and when asked did you wanna go on the bold step you said... "YES"!!
You were playing a game on my phone and you've subscibed me to something for 2.50e a day!! thanks pal!
There's a slide in ballymun pool and you go up and down the hole time its there and the only thing to get you off is them physically closing it! we're not even at the end and you're screaming AGAIN AGAIN!!!

I'm going to be packing all week for our first overseas family trip, we're landing in Orlando for one night, then off on The Royal Carribean Cruise ship for a week, I can't wait for you to go to the disco,, you're crazy for parties, music and especially dancing, you're recently taken to the microphone too! then we're heading back to Orlando for 2 nights before we head to a resort called Clearwater, it's on the South Coast of Florida.

They've just added a thing on this blog site too where i can upload pictures, so for previous Clodagh footage you'll find stuff on facebook and i'm sure i'll have a hard copy stash somewhere too. but this is great, i can give you the pics to match what i'm talking about!
Oh, and thanks for today,... emptying the fish food all over the balcony and mashing it into yourself and the house with sudocream, you are a true artist!

Good afternoon darling! Mammy here. It's an absolutely beautiful day outside, 18 degrees according to the chart on Suffolk St. I'm still on my work experience in the accounting firm. This is my last week and I must tell you, I can't wait to spend every day with you again. I miss you sooooo much!

You stayed in your nana Mags' house on Saturday night and as usual were as good as good can be. You always amaze me how well behaved you actually are. (not that you're let be bold) but still.
Nana brought you to Johnstown park to go on the swings and slide and Ava went too with her nana Jean who live next door to nana. # 24.

This is your last week in creche for this part of my course anyway, thank god. I just can't bare it anymore, you're so sad in the morning.

You've been 2 now for 12 days and it's amazing, you've just starting having conversations!!! You've been saying a lot (most) of your words for a long time now, but this is just unbelievable! Daddy brought you in to our bed this morning (seeing as you let a roar for him) lol. You got all cosy and said "Mammy, funnies" so we lay together for a while before i had to get ready. You watched baby jake first, (you LOVE him) then, postman pat was on and you looked for that to be changed and settled on Ben and Holly's little kingdom. which you simply call "Holly"

I've had so many facebook messages wishing you a happy birthday (i wonder who out of them you will know by the time you read this) hmmm..??

You had a ball yesterday, you got pressies, of clothes, dolls, make n' do things, the etouch that your daddy and i bought you that i broke! which i will be replacing tonight and the trapoline. that's by far your fave.
The people that came to see you were, me, daddy, your 2 nanas, your 2 grandas, uncle darren, uncle barry, Rosaleen, Colleen, Julie and Grace, Karen, Leon, Emma, Layla, Lisa O'Brien and Donna was there with all her friends, Sophie (gaynor and mcquillan) and libby.
I'm so glad you had a good time, i LOVE your hat on you! uncle barry bought you the peach outfit, i'm sure you'll find the pictures.
