Dear Clodagh, Happy 2nd birthday to you. I just cannot believe it's 2 years since you came into our lives. It most certainly is true that time flies when you're having fun, you bring so much fun, happiness and laughter to ours I don't notice my life before my eyes!

Well, what did you get... ?? Your daddy and I bought you an ETouch, (it's just like an ipad, it has a pink cover) and this morning you were playing some balloon game and looking at animals, fruits and numbers.
It was Donna's communion party on monday (today is wednesday and it's quite dull outside, but at least its not raining!!) anyway, your nana had a party for Donna and we put up your other birthday present for her and her friends to use a trampoline, that's from me, your daddy, nana and granda. and you call it a "Bamboline" it's close enough and you gave that huge big word a try the minute you heard it, once again making me so so proud of you! (i might even give Mensa a call later, haha)

I've been meaning to write to you about the weekend you just had.

Ali got married to Bren last Friday, (25.5.12) and you had  your first sleep over in  your friends house (Grace), Julie collected your daddy and brought him to the train station so he could join me, they said you got quite upset when he got out of the car (this is normal for you, up until a year ago i couldn't pee without  you sitting on my lap) but Julie said, after a minute you were fine, you played and that night fell asleep in front of the tele in Grace's pram and Gareth carried you up to bed.
Some dogs barking woke you at 3.30am and gave you a fright, but Gareth took the spare room and Julie brought you in beside her and you went straight back off to sleep.
The next morning, the 4 of you went to the zoo (in matching clothes) and the photos are so cute!
Then you went to the pub, had dinner and a nap in the car on the way back. Meanwhile i'm beside myself in Ann's car with uncle Barry, Jen Jen and your daddy.
This is the longest i've ever left you and I can tell you I won't be doing it again until you are at least 45!!! I missed you so much!

Right, well i'm in my work experience (still trainning to be an accountant so i can pay for your tuition to be a doctor)!!!

I'll come back later, i have a few things to say for your 2nd birthday!

Until later darling,

Love Mammy xxx
